What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Carpenter position at D.W. Construction?
D. W. Construction is a local deck and porch builder here in the Nashville area that provides a high quality service to all of our clients.
We are seeking a hard working and reliable leader for our open position. The ideal candidate will have previous experience leading crews as well as finish carpentry experience. Candidate must possess good communication skills and a professional demeanor as this job will require interacting with the homeowners.
Responsibilities:
Able to read and interpret plans
Perform daily skilled carpentry tasks as needed
Lead and work with the crew to complete jobs efficiently
Maintain the high standard set by D.W. Construction
Troubleshoot and problem solve any issues in a timely manner
Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
D.W. Construction will provide any necessary tools.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
