In addition to the fun aspect of detective work, D & T Pest and Termite Control, Inc. will provide you with a company vehicle, gas card and smart phone.As a Pest Control Technician (Detective if you will) you will provide the vital link between our company and our clients through exceptional customer service. You will seek to solve existing pest problems and recommend corrective actions to prevent future pest problems.Essential Job Functions:Visually inspect for pests, pest entries, etc.Act quickly and effectively to address actual or potential problems.Tolerate variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations.Operate company vehicle safely; and maintains vehicle to comply with company guidelines.Meet the physical demands of the job; walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting & carrying up to 40 lbs., etc.Enter/exit structures and crawl spaces, climb over and on top of structures, ascend and descend stairs and ladders.Use required personal protective equipment.Complete services as scheduled and provides appropriate documentation of services performed.Complete reports and paperwork are thorough, accurate, legible, and on time.Requirements:A valid State driver's license with an acceptable driving record.Read, write, speak, and comprehend EnglishLegal eligibility to work in the U.S2 years knowledge of pest control products, services, treatments, regulations, and safety procedures.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $23.00 per hourBenefits:Paid time off / paid holidaysEmployees paid on a weekly basis401(k) matchingDental insurance paid by employerFuel cardHealth insurancePaid trainingVision insurance: paid by employerCommission payOvertime paySchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayOvertimeRotating weekendsWeekends as neededYear-round workApplication Question(s):Do you have Termite experience?Do you have Wildlife experience?Education:High school or equivalent (Required)Experience:Pest control: 2 years (Required)License/Certification:Mass Pest Control License (Required)Rhode Island Pest Control License (Optional)Commute:Bellingham, MA 02019 (Required)Work Location: In person
