Responsibilities
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity across the premises and identify potential security threats
- Perform routine patrols of the property to ensure safety, check for unauthorized access, and identify hazards or suspicious activity
- Manage access control by verifying identification and authorizations of visitors, contractors, and employees
- Respond promptly to security alarms or incidents, providing clear communication with emergency responders when necessary
- Enforce property policies related to loss prevention, conflict management, and safety procedures
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes
- Assist in emergency situations by administering first aid or CPR if needed and following established protocols
Qualifications
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable
- Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and loss prevention techniques
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Familiarity with security procedures, including access control and incident reporting
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for detecting irregularities or safety concerns
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining alertness
