Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated, self-driven Project Estimator / Sales Representative to help grow our residential home-improvement business. This role focuses on lead follow-up, on-site walkthroughs, estimating, and closing jobs.
This is a 1099 independent contractor position paid commission only — ideal for someone who wants flexibility, income potential, and growth without being tied to a desk.
Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming leads (calls, messages, referrals)
- Schedule and perform on-site walkthroughs with customers
- Assess scope of work and gather measurements/photos
- Create clear, accurate estimates based on company pricing
- Explain scope, pricing, and process to homeowners
- Close jobs and hand off signed work to the owner/crew
- Maintain professional communication and follow-ups
Compensation
- 10% commission on all closed jobs (material not included, Only Profit/Labor)
- Paid after customer payment is received
- No income cap — higher closes = higher pay
(Example: $10,000 job labor = $1,000 commission)
Requirements
- Strong communication and people skills
- Comfortable speaking with homeowners and answering questions
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Smartphone (photos, notes, communication)
- Basic understanding of construction or home improvement preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage your schedule
1099 Independent Contractor Status
