D&S Manufacturing is looking to expand their team at Black River Falls, WI.

1st Shift/Full-Time: Monday through Thursday, 5:00am to 3:30pm

With experience, make up to $23.62 per hour.

Summary

Perform various operations within the paint department such as light assembly, straightening, shot blasting, and other activities supporting the paint lines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Do skilled aligning, adjusting and straightening of parts using hydraulic equipment.
  • Conduct leak testing of parts using established fixtures and procedures.
  • Use a variety of hand tools.
  • Recognize defective parts.
  • Work from complicated assembly drawings, diagrams and specifications.
  • Use a variety of precision and non-precision measuring instruments and gauging devices.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to smell, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Education And/or Experience

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED, HSED)
  • One to three months related experience and/or training preferred
  • Work experience or training which demonstrates a knowledge of assembly techniques.
  • Work experience or training which demonstrates knowledge of design and basic mechanical principles.
