Established Florida commercial electrical contractor has immediate opening in Manatee, FL area for experienced commercial Electrical Foreman with (10 years), School Construction. We are looking for a motivated and dependable Foreman to join our team.

Job Title: Electrical Lead Foreman

Requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned.)

• Able to perform activities of workers supervised.

• Will meet with the Contractor and other Subcontractors to coordinate all work to be performed.
• Provide time projections for electrical work using the contractors build schedule and our weekly look-ahead schedules. 
• Be active in jobsite weekly project meeting. Keep notes of commitments.
• Is responsible to perform all phases of contracted installations for D&S and our subcontractors.

• Evaluates ongoing electrical procedures.
• Monitor field production to ensure project schedules are being met. Work through Mark Evanicky, the Project Managers as required to meet the project manpower needs.
• Work with PM to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Help PM with Owner Training for project closeout.
• Coordinate with PM. Preparing change order proposals and order necessary materials for approved change orders.
• Help with cost estimates for man hours and needed material on changes with the D&S PM. 
• Help to prepare RFI’s as needed to obtain needed information and documentation.

• Ensure electrical needs are being completed, review electrical and contract specifications and performance criteria.

• Be knowledgeable of company policies and enforce safety regulations.
• Be on the lookout and aware of hazardous conditions and potentially hazardous conditions (as defined by OSHA) and be prepared to take immediate action for the protection of personnel first, and then equipment and any other potential damage to tangible property. This includes our own employees as well as other trades on the jobsite.

• Reviews electrical and system requirements prior to the start of the work. 
• Inspect the electrical and other subcontractors’ systems daily. Maintain and submit record drawing.
• Must be able to coordinate with our low voltage sub-contractors installing below.

• Must be able to work outside; have reliable transportation; maintain regular and acceptable work hours; display attention to detail and instructions; take pride in your work. New school electrical construction experience preferred. Experience using basic hand/power tools or willingness to use these tools to perform your duties. Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.
• Summary: Supervises, coordinates, and manages all jobsite activities for assigned projects as required for complete construction and execution of subcontract agreement requirements in accordance with plans, specifications, codes and applicable requirements by performing the following duties.
