Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of surfaces, floors, carpets, and upholstery using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures consistently across all areas, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, offices, and outdoor spaces.
• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms with care and efficiency.
• Operate various cleaning equipment including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and janitorial tools to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Conduct floor care activities such as mopping, sweeping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to preserve the appearance and safety of all flooring types.
• Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or cleaning supplies while adhering to safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with clients or residents to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain organized cleaning supplies inventory and ensure proper use of cleaning surfaces while following health and safety regulations.
• Support housekeeping management by assisting with outdoor work when necessary and ensuring timely completion of daily tasks.

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings is preferred.
• Experience with hotel housekeeping or residential cleaning enhances your ability to deliver top-tier service.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, sanitation standards, and floor care techniques is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to handle manual handling tasks safely while managing heavy lifting requirements.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
• Excellent client communication skills to understand customer expectations and provide friendly service.
• Previous outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior spaces or outdoor facilities.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
