What are the responsibilities and job description for the Internship - Supply Chain & Logistics - Plant Operations position at Dürr?
Your Tasks
- Support our field operations teams while gaining hands-on, real-world experience. In this role, you will support day-to-day logistics and operational activities at the Louisville LAP plant in support of the Durr Systems project.
- Provide on-site logistics and operations support for the project team
- Track and follow up on incoming deliveries and material receipts
- Perform SAP receiving activities, including confirmation of goods received and documentation support
- Support users with Insite LMS software at the LAP site, including basic troubleshooting and usage guidance
- Maintain accurate records related to deliveries, inventory, and site activities
- Coordinate with site leadership and team members to ensure timely flow of materials and information
- Assist with general administrative and operational tasks as needed to support site execution
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Basic ability to read technical drawings
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, on-site manufacturing environment
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Exposure to CAD, schematics, or technical documentation *Preferred
- Familiarity with project tracking or document control tools *Preferred
- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good organization and time management skills ability to work on multiple projects
