We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and solutions-driven Electrical Installation Supervisor to oversee and participate in site activity with the goal of successfully installing and commissioning Dürr equipment.
What You'll Do
•Coordination of the electrical installation
•Supplier management through to over/under cost management for electrical installation scopes
•Coordination between project management, engineering and senior site management
•Ensuring conformity to standards and specificatopns
•Ensuring that deadlines are met
•reporting of progress to internal and to customer
•Process customer bulletins and field orders
•Provide value analysis documentation support to project managers
•Subcontractor claims management
•Customer claims management
What You Bring
•Solid technical training (master craftsman, technician in the field of electrical engineering or comparable)
•Knowledge and experience in the field of electrical production / installation
•Experience in the installation of electrical equipment of machines and plants (process and conveyor technology)
•Experience in the installation of power distribution systems and heavy duty stations
•Experience in installation and measurements of networks (e.g. Ethernet, Profinet)
•Experienced in handling valid EN/US guidelines and standards (e.g. EN60204-1, UL508A, NEC, NFPA)
•Confident handling of measurements according to DIN EN ISO 60204-1
•High willingness to travel
•Five or more years of supervisory experience required
•Ten or more years of supervisory experience will be considered in lieu of degree
•Labor and union relations skills
•Working knowledge of OSHA regulations (30 hour certified)
•Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
•Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
•Knowledge of SAP is a plus
•Ability to understand and maintain project schedules
•Good time management skills
•Good organizational skills
•Good verbal communication skills
•Good technical writing skills
•Able to effectively communicate with engineering and estimating departments, contractors, suppliers, and customers
•Able to work well independently and in a team environment
•Able to technically define problems and propose solutions

Expected Hours of Work:
