Senior Wire EDM Setup & Programmer
NOW HIRING – SENIOR WIRE EDM SETUP & PROGRAMMER
D&R Products Co., Inc. in Hudson, MA is seeking an experienced Senior Wire EDM Setup & Programmer to join our team.
We are looking for a highly skilled machinist with extensive Wire EDM setup and programming experience who can work independently and produce complex, high-precision components.
Responsibilities
- Set up and program Wire EDM machines
- Program and optimize complex Wire EDM jobs
- Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and blueprints
- Set up workpieces, fixtures, and work offsets
- Select appropriate cutting conditions and parameters
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections
- Use precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Troubleshoot programming, setup, and machining issues
- Make program and machine adjustments to maintain tight tolerances
- Maintain consistent quality and production standards
- Assist with improving processes and machining efficiency
Qualifications
- Extensive Wire EDM setup and programming experience required
- Strong blueprint and GD&T reading skills
- Expert knowledge of precision measuring equipment
- Ability to hold tight tolerances and produce complex parts
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Shifts: Day & Night Shift
Pay: Competitive pay based on experience
