Pool Cleaner

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pool Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and proper functioning of swimming pools to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and experience with pool maintenance and equipment repair. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors, utilize hand and power tools, and develop skills in pool service and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of pools, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing, and emptying skimmer baskets
• Inspect pool equipment such as pumps, filters, and chlorinators for proper operation
• Conduct minor repairs or adjustments on pool equipment using hand tools and power tools
• Maintain chemical balance by adding appropriate chemicals as needed (training provided)
• Ensure safety standards are followed during all maintenance activities
• Document service performed and communicate any issues or repairs needed to supervisors
• Assist with seasonal opening and closing procedures for pools when required

Requirements

• Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with pool equipment and maintenance procedures preferred
• Experience with equipment repair, hand tools, and power tools is highly desirable
• Previous service technician or pool cleaning experience is a plus
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
• Reliable transportation to travel between job sites as needed
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $24.00 per hour
