Foreman / Lead Carpenter
D. Penna General Contracting is seeking an experienced Foreman / Lead Carpenter to oversee day-to-day operations on high-end residential construction and remodeling projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and work alongside carpentry crews on residential projects
- Coordinate daily jobsite activities, subcontractors, materials, and deliveries
- Read and execute plans, specifications, and project details
- Perform high-quality framing, finish carpentry, remodeling, and general construction
- Maintain project schedules and communicate progress or issues to the supervisor/owner
- Ensure workmanship meets D. Penna quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and safe jobsite
- Communicate professionally with subcontractors, suppliers, and crew members
- Train and provide direction to less-experienced carpenters and laborers
Qualifications
- Strong residential carpentry and construction experience
- Previous crew leadership or foreman experience preferred
- Ability to independently plan and execute daily work
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Reliable, organized, and able to communicate effectively
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Own basic carpentry hand tools

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
