Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Car Salesperson role based in Evansville, IN. The Car Salesperson will greet and engage customers in the showroom and lot, understand their transportation needs, and guide them through vehicle selection across multiple makes and models. Daily responsibilities include conducting test drives, explaining vehicle features and benefits, preparing price quotes, and presenting financing and trade-in options in coordination with the finance team. The role includes maintaining accurate records in the CRM system, following up with prospects and existing customers, and supporting customer retention through post-sale communication. The Car Salesperson will also stay current on product knowledge, inventory changes, and market trends, and may assist with merchandising, vehicle presentation, and dealership events.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-focused mindset, with skills in Customer Satisfaction and Customer Retention.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse customers.
- Experience or strong interest in Automotive Sales, including familiarity with vehicle features, trims, and financing basics.
- Comfort with using computers, CRM tools, and digital communication for lead follow-up and documentation.
- Proven ability to meet goals, manage time effectively, and work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or sales training is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and the ability to conduct customer test drives.
