Revenue Director / General Manager – Luxury STR Resort (Opening 2026)

The New Cumberland is a luxury short‑term rental resort community redefining the Nashville hospitality experience. Our property features:
- 80 high‑end STR residences (4–5 bedrooms, rooftop entertainment decks)
- The Crystal Atrium – indoor/outdoor wedding event venue
- Resort‑style amenities: community pool, custom pool bar, pickleball courts, convenience market, 24/7 security, and more.
We are hiring a Revenue Director / General Manager to lead both revenue strategy and day‑to‑day resort operations. This is a rare hybrid leadership role ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of analytics, operations, team leadership, and guest experience.
About the Role
As the Revenue Director / General Manager, you will oversee:
- Revenue management (pricing, forecasting, distribution, channel optimization)
- Operational leadership (guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, events, vendor management)
- Team building (hiring, training, performance management)
- Brand guest experience (service standards, quality control, SOPs)
You’ll be responsible for maximizing occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and total resort profitability while ensuring a luxury‑level guest experience across the entire property.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Strategy & Performance
- Develop and execute revenue strategies to maximize ADR, RevPAR, occupancy, and total revenue
- Analyze market trends, competitor data, and booking patterns to adjust pricing in real time
- Manage distribution across Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, direct booking channels, and OTAs
- Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting for ownership
- Implement yield strategies for peak seasons and major Nashville events (CMA Fest, Titans games, concerts, conventions)
- Maintain and optimize PMS, RMS, and channel management systems
General Manager / Operations Leadership
- Lead daily operations across guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, security, and events
- Recruit, train, and manage a high‑performing on‑site team
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and consistent service standards
- Oversee The Crystal Atrium event venue operations and coordinate with wedding corporate sales teams
- Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and operational budgets
- Implement SOPs, quality assurance systems, and preventative maintenance plans
- Collaborate with marketing to align promotions, brand messaging, and revenue goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 3–5 years of revenue management experience in hotels, resorts, or STR operations
- 3 years of hospitality operations or General Manager experience
- Strong understanding of Nashville tourism, STR regulations, and local demand drivers
- Experience with wedding, corporate, or group sales revenue strategies is a plus
- Proficiency with PMS, RMS, channel managers, and hospitality tech platforms
