Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to residential and commercial locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Plan efficient delivery routes using route driving skills to maximize productivity and reduce fuel consumption
- Interact professionally with customers, providing friendly service and answering questions about deliveries or products
- Manage merchandise placement during deliveries,
- Perform heavy lifting of packages and products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or injury
- Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and documentation for each trip and transaction
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered on routes
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent with a clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation tools to optimize delivery schedules
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members confidently
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
- Organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries throughout the day without missing deadlines
- Self discipline and strong work ethic
