- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex problems efficiently.
- Perform wheel alignments, brake repairs, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations, and other specialized services.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service equipment to complete repairs with precision.
- Inspect and repair vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and electrical wiring to ensure optimal performance.
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs and provide excellent customer service throughout the service process.
- Proven dealership or automotive service technician experience with a strong mechanical background.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and schematics reading.
- Hands-on experience repairing GM vehicles or similar makes preferred.
- Knowledge of ADAS calibration, alignment procedures, and diesel engine repair is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Service technician experience involving auto estimating processes is a plus.
