Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED required
- 4-6 years of experience in a lending/lending support capacity required
- Knowledge of commercial and consumer loan services, documentation, and procedures required
- Familiarity with general loan documentation helpful
- Accurate and attentive to detail
- Well organized
- Good typing skills
- Willing and able to help others
- Able to use a computer, adding machine, copy machine, and basic business equipment
- Able to get along well with coworkers
- Assists customers with completing consumer credit applications for home equity, auto, Visa cards, and other lines of credit, interviews customers, and submits application with appropriate documentation for approval
- Reviews loan application to verify that the application data is complete and meets establishment standards
- Prepares financial statements, loan memorandums and budgets as required
- Processes loan payments and complex loan draws and tracks insurance on business loans
- Monitors disbursements on construction and development loans
- Types a variety of documents, records, and reports including monthly Board of Director reports
- Opens, sorts, and distributes mail
- Ensures that customers' requests and questions are promptly resolved
- Obtains and conveys information as needed
- Coordinates functions with related departments and Branches and provides support as needed
- Helps other area personnel as required
- Keeps management informed of area activities and any significant problems or concerns
- Maintains and projects the Bank's professional reputation
- Promotes D.L. Evans Bank at all times
- Serves as a representative for D.L. Evans Bank in the community
- Attends meetings as required
- Completes special projects as assigned
