Duties
- Operate the cash register efficiently, accurately handling cash, credit/debit card transactions, and balancing the cash drawer at shift end
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and guiding them through product features and store policies
- Conduct product demos to showcase new or featured items, encouraging customer engagement and sales opportunities
- Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining attractive displays to support merchandising efforts
- Upsell complementary products by identifying customer needs and recommending relevant items to increase sales
- Maintain knowledge of store products and retail math to ensure accurate pricing and transaction processing
- Demonstrate professional phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely
Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued above all
- Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations is a plus
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse customers in bilingual settings is highly desirable
