Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly
- Execute specialized floor care tasks including carpet cleaning, waxing, polishing, and buffing to keep floors looking pristine
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally and courteously
- Manage janitorial supplies inventory and notify management when stock levels are low
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
Qualifications
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred; hotel or residential cleaning experience is a plus
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, sanitation practices, and laundry processes
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment
- Basic familiarity with commercial cleaning tools and supplies; training will be provided if needed
- Flexibility to work various shifts based on client needs and scheduling demands
