This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient product movement, maintaining operational accuracy, and supporting collaboration between suppliers, carriers, warehouses, and internal departments. Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily supply chain operations, including procurement, transportation, inventory control, and order fulfillment
- Communicate with suppliers, carriers, warehouse personnel, and internal teams to ensure smooth operational execution
- Monitor shipment status, inventory availability, and delivery schedules to maintain service excellence
- Prepare and maintain purchase orders, shipping documentation, inventory reports, and operational records
- Support demand planning, forecasting, replenishment, and inventory optimization initiatives
- Analyze operational data to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
- Assist with supplier relationship management and vendor performance monitoring
- Maintain accurate information within ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Coordinate cross-functional projects that improve logistics efficiency and operational performance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and supply chain best practices
Requirements
- Previous experience in supply chain management, logistics, procurement, transportation, warehouse operations, or inventory control preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and inventory management software
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other analytics platforms is a plus
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies
- APICS/ASCM certifications or other industry credentials are considered an advantage
