What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Team Associate position at D&H Marketing?
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Retail Associate for D&H Marketing will work within the retail grocery stores supplied by vendors/ manufacturers represented by D&H Marketing. The job of the Retail Associate is to merchandise sections within the stores to maintain shelf / product integrity and meet the customers merchandising directives.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
· Must have an acceptable driving record
· Must be able to drive / ride in a motor vehicle for several hours- traveling will consist of leaving Sunday and returning home on Thursday, traveling the Northeast / Southeast states
· Must have a neat and acceptable appearance-Collared shirt, jeans/pants with no holes, rips, or stains, and no open-toed shoes
· Must be able to work well with vendors, customers, coworkers-being able to build a good relationship with the customer and your fellow co workers
· Must be able to read, understand and execute retailers plan-o-grams for product placement- understand that POGs are a guide, and every store owner has final approval of completed sections
· Must be able to bend at the knees and lift a minimum of 50lbs- job requires lifting product, cleaning and moving shelves
· Must be able to stand and walk for several hours -8hr workday on your feet
· Must be able to flex and stretch to place product on store shelves
· Must be able to climb ladders / step stools
· Must be able to use hand tools and cleaning equipment such as mops, brooms and brushes as well as household cleaning agents-cleaning shelves is mandatory
· Complete recaps and reports as required on provided device-store recap for every store visit are to be submitted weekly
· Continually sell new and promotional products to our customers via sales flyers-must present sales flyers to every store
