Description

The Customer Service Specialist at D&H Industries is a results-oriented, innovative and analytical person with a drive for change. The successful candidate will be energized by change and variety. This role ensures seamless customer relations and efficient sales operations.

The What

What will you be doing?

  • Identify, evaluate, and optimize business workflows to enhance efficiency, quality, and performance. Map current processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement changes. Serve as a primary contact for customer inquiries, resolving issues and ensuring satisfaction through prompt and professional communication.
  • Assist with sales quote documentation (RFQ's) outlining the fixed costs, itemized materials/services, and delivery terms sent within 24 hours to secure sales.
  • Enhance, and maintain end-to-end customer product life cycle.
  • Facilitate the management of product data, including lifecycle tracking, product launches, discontinuations, and updates.
  • Own the CRM database, keeping all customer and sales records current, accurate, and secure.
  • Lead and support electronic data interchange (EDI) processes to enhance order processing and data accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, supply chain, sales, or a related field.
  • Customer service experience within a manufacturing environment required.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, sales databases, and MS Office Suite.
  • Adept at utilizing EPICOR or similar ERP platform.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines effectively.
  • Familiarity with RFQ processing, pricing and costing, product lifecycle management, and compliance documentation.
  • Experience with EDI processes and reporting tools is preferred.
