Program Management Contracts Specialist


Job Description Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled professional to provide program management contracts support services. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in government contract management and documentation, and collaboration tools to ensure efficient program execution and compliance.


Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive program management support, including development, tracking, and maintenance of project documentation, schedules, and reports.
  • Manage, maintain and administer SharePoint sites to ensure accurate, organized, and accessible program documentation.
  • Draft and maintain interoffice memorandums, SOW's, cost estimates, justifications, and supporting documentation for government Contracting Officer’s Representatives
  • Support contract package development and documentation in alignment with the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution process.
  • Utilize Teams, Project, and Excel to support document tracking, scheduling, and program deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with federal acquisition processes and program documentation standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, program managers, and contracting staff to ensure timely and accurate program support.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, document trackers, and interoffice communications.
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in contract development and management, including preparation of contracting packages, drafting SOWs, cost estimates, justifications, and other supporting documentation.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience with SharePoint
  • Strong knowledge of federal acquisition processes, program management support, and documentation best practices.
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust
  • This role is restricted to U.S. person(s) (ie., U.S. citizens, permanent residents and other protected individuals under the immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))
Desired Skills:
  • Experience supporting a federal government program with knowledge of KO/KS functions.
  • Previous experience holding a KO warrant.

Location: Coast Guard Headquarters Washington DC. Potential for telework.
