D&G Multi Services LLC is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join its onsite team in Prince George, VA.
Position Summary
As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will safely operate and maintain heavy machinery to support site preparation, excavation, grading, and material movement. You will help ensure work is completed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with all safety and operational requirements.
You will collaborate with supervisors and crew members to prepare job sites, follow project plans and instructions, and maintain a high standard of workmanship while operating equipment in a safe, responsible manner.
Key Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to complete assigned tasks such as excavation, grading, and loading/unloading materials.
Follow project plans, work orders, and site instructions to ensure accurate placement and proper site conditions.
Inspect equipment before and during use, report issues promptly, and support basic maintenance and cleanliness.
Maintain awareness of surrounding personnel and site conditions while working in active job environments.
Adhere to all safety procedures, including proper operation practices, hazard recognition, and compliance with site rules.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or similar environment.
Ability to read and follow work instructions, including basic understanding of job site layouts and grade requirements.
Strong commitment to safety practices, including working in accordance with established procedures.
Willingness to work onsite full time in Prince George, VA, and adapt to changing job site conditions.
Reliability and focus when operating equipment and performing assigned tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience operating a variety of heavy equipment types used in land and site development work.
Familiarity with basic job site processes such as excavation support, grading, and site preparation.
Demonstrated experience working as part of a crew and communicating effectively with supervisors and teammates.
Training or certification related to equipment operation and safety (as applicable).

Hourly rate: $25.00
