Medical Assistant – Skilled Nursing Facility Rounds

Our primary care office is looking for a dedicated MA to join our team supporting providers during facility rounds, managing patient records, and keeping our day-to-day operations running smoothly.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of clinical support and administrative work, with a semi-hybrid schedule that flexes around provider availability.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with healthcare providers during patient rounds at skilled nursing facilities
• Assist with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures as needed
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records including EHR documentation
• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate follow-up visits
• Manage incoming/outgoing calls, emails, and faxes
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies
• Support patients and families with compassion and professionalism
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
• CMA or RMA certification preferred
• Prior healthcare experience, ideally in a skilled nursing facility setting
• Solid understanding of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with EHR systems
• Adaptability and a team-first mindset
• Flexibility to adjust hours based on provider schedule
