Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced crane operator for our small, family owned crane company. Part time or full time. Saturdays will sometimes be required. Applicant must hold a current CDL license and NCCCO certification to operate cranes. Current driving record must be clean. Pay to commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate cranes, boom trucks.
- Rig loads securely using appropriate rigging techniques to ensure safe lifting operations.
- Handle materials efficiently across construction sites, warehouses, or shipping & receiving areas.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment before use to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and lift activities for safety compliance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating cranes, heavy equipment, and rigging in a construction or industrial environment.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic maintenance checks.
- Valid commercial driver’s license with experience in commercial driving.
- Valid NCCCO Cert
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Prior experience.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
