Duties
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, air brakes, suspension, and electrical components across various heavy equipment and trucks
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, alignments, and system inspections to prevent downtime.
- Utilize OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) schematics and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and implement effective solutions.
- Fabricate parts or modify equipment using welding, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet specific operational needs.
- Perform heavy equipment servicing including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and construction machinery maintenance.
- Troubleshoot electrical diagnostics and electrical systems to resolve issues related to HVAC systems, lighting, sensors, and control modules.
- Ensure safety standards are maintained during all repair activities by adhering to industry regulations and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic .
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and construction machinery.
- Proficiency in using schematics for electrical diagnostics and understanding automotive diagnostics for troubleshooting complex issues.
- Hands-on experience with equipment repair involving transmissions, hydraulics, suspensions, air brakes, and alignment procedures.
- Ability to perform welding (including soldering), fabrication tasks, and heavy lifting safely.
- Familiarity with OEM parts replacement procedures for diesel engines and vehicle maintenance tasks.
Pay: $24.00 - $33.00 per hour
