We’re looking for a dependable and hardworking Rug & Carpet Cleaning Technician to join our growing team. This position involves cleaning carpets and upholstery at residential and commercial properties, as well as cleaning area rugs at our facility.
Previous experience is not required. We provide paid, hands-on training to help you learn the equipment, techniques, and procedures needed to succeed. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, pays attention to detail, and wants to develop a valuable trade.
Responsibilities
- Clean carpets and upholstery at residential and commercial locations
- Perform in-facility area rug cleaning, including dusting, washing, rinsing, drying, and grooming
- Inspect carpet and rug fibers to determine the appropriate cleaning method
- Pre-treat stains, spots, and heavily soiled areas
- Safely operate professional cleaning equipment and tools
- Load and unload rugs, equipment, and cleaning supplies
- Keep company vehicles, equipment, and work areas clean and organized
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service
Requirements
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work
- Willing to learn and follow company procedures
- Carpet, upholstery, or rug-cleaning experience is helpful but not required
