Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks and construction practices. This role involves working on diverse projects, including residential and commercial builds, renovations, and restorations. The Carpenter/Laborer will be responsible for executing tasks with precision and attention to detail while ensuring safety protocols are followed on-site.
Responsibilities
- Perform trim and frame carpentry, ensuring high-quality finishes.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute project specifications.
- Engage in concrete forming, plastering, and masonry work as needed.
- Assist with cabinet installation, door hanging, and fixture installation.
- Conduct water damage restoration and mold remediation when required.
- Participate in roofing, siding, and flooring installation projects.
- Execute heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
Experience
Candidates should possess experience in the following areas:
- Construction estimating and project planning.
- Trim carpentry, frame carpentry, woodworking, and fabrication.
- Construction site experience with an understanding of safety protocols.
- Proficiency in caulking, stucco application, rebar installation, and metal stud framing.
- Familiarity with CNC machinery and assembly processes.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, remodeling techniques, tile laying, and construction painting is a plus.
