D F W is a new, locally owned, hospitality venture opening The Village Lounge on Main Street in Margaretville, New York, this fall.
Our approach combines an inspired food and beverage program, genuine hospitality, art, design, and a strong sense of place. We’re building a small team of talented people who care about what they do, enjoy working with others, and want to help shape a new kind of gathering place in the community.

Bartender
We’re looking for a Bartender who sees beverages as a full-spectrum craft approached with genuine curiosity, proven skill, and imagination.
D F W is a lounge, not a traditional restaurant. Our F&B program is intentionally focused: a carefully edited selection that is approachable, surprising, nourishing, and designed to complement the rhythm of the space.
We’re especially excited to work with someone who is kind and confident behind a bar, takes their work seriously, connects with people authentically, knows their way around classic cocktails and coffee service, but is equally interested in the broader world of beverages.
As a member of the FOH team, you will play an integral role in maintaining our low-key, high-brow atmosphere: welcoming, kind, and relaxed. You are professional, attentive, efficient, and steady whether service is quiet and conversational or fast-paced with a line.
Your contributions will help shape a beverage program with an inspired sensibility: thoughtful and refined without taking itself too seriously, with room for both a perfectly made classic and a surprisingly complex house soda. You’ll be welcomed to propose and lead beverage-focused events or activations, collaboratively developed with the team and scheduled as it fits within the broader D F W calendar and brand guide.
