WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILS
Work Schedule: The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility as needed to ensure our plumbing and HVAC operations run smoothly.
You Typical Day: As an Operations Manager, each day begins by reviewing key performance indicators, ensuring all departments-residential, commercial, and new construction-are operating efficiently. You collaborate with department heads to streamline processes, remove obstacles, and drive revenue growth. Managing warehouse operations, inventory, and OSHA compliance is a key part of your role, ensuring safety and efficiency. You also work closely with union representatives, ensuring compliance with labor agreements while fostering strong team relationships. Throughout the day, you provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership, ensuring that all teams align with company goals and operational excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR OUR OPERATIONS MANAGER
- 5 years of experience in operations or warehouse management (ideally in plumbing, construction, or HVAC)
- Track record of driving revenue growth and optimizing department profitability
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, workplace safety, and union labor agreements
- Experience with inventory management systems, ERP software, Service Titan, and Google Business Suite
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform all of the physical requirements of the job
- Willingness to obtain a CCB and other relevant licenses
- Plumbing knowledge is required
- Must know plumbing code, materials, tools, and processes.
