Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and sprinter vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload goods using equipment such as a hand truck/dolly, ensuring items are secured properly for transit.
- Deliver products to customers’ locations across designated routes, maintaining punctuality and professionalism at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer questions, confirming deliveries, and ensuring satisfaction upon receipt.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure optimal safety and functionality.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong understanding of route driving and navigation.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Experience operating box trucks and sprinter vans is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling of goods up to 150 pounds, safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail for verifying deliveries, and maintaining safety standards.
