Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated, independent Commission-Based Sales Representative (1099) to
grow sales in the automotive service equipment market. This role is ideal for a self-starter with
strong relationship-building skills and experience selling into automotive dealerships, repair
shops, fleet service centers, or related industries.
The Sales Representative will be based in Wichita, KS or the surrounding area and will work
closely with our manufacturer partners’ local sales and service teams to support customers,
develop opportunities, and close deals.
Key Responsibilities
● Prospect, develop, and manage relationships with automotive repair facilities,
dealerships, fleet service providers, and related businesses
● Sell automotive service equipment solutions, including lifts, shop equipment, and related
products
● Collaborate with manufacturers’ local sales and service teams to ensure accurate
quoting, proper equipment selection, and smooth project execution
● Conduct on-site customer visits, product presentations, and equipment demonstrations
● Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through closing
● Maintain a strong understanding of product oferings, market trends, and competitor
activity
● Provide basic pre-sale technical insight and coordinate post-sale support as needed
Qualifications
● Proven sales experience (B2B preferred; automotive, industrial, or equipment sales
strongly preferred)
● Knowledge of automotive service operations or shop equipment is a plus
● Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
● Self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable working independently
● Ability to manage time efectively within a defined territory
● Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
