Sales & Project Manager – Residential Construction

D. Davis Construction, LLC is a residential and commercial construction company serving Daviess County and the surrounding Washington, Indiana area. We build custom homes and take pride in delivering quality craftsmanship and a smooth, professional experience for every client. As we grow, we're looking for a driven, organized professional to help lead our sales process and manage projects from first contact to final walkthrough.

**About the Role**

We're seeking a Sales & Project Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and current clients throughout the home-building process. This is a hybrid role: you'll generate and close new business, then oversee the projects you sell — keeping timelines, budgets, and communication on track from groundbreaking to move-in.

**What You'll Do**

*Sales*
- Respond to and qualify incoming leads (phone, web, referrals)
- Meet with prospective clients to understand their needs, budget, and vision
- Present pricing, options, and contracts; guide clients through the bid process
- Follow up on estimates and proposals to close new business
- Maintain a pipeline of leads and track conversion in our systems
- Build relationships with realtors, lenders, and other referral sources in the local market

*Project Management*
- Serve as the main client contact once a project is signed
- Coordinate schedules with subcontractors, crews, and suppliers
- Track project budgets, change orders, and timelines
- Conduct regular site check-ins and client updates
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during construction and keep projects moving
- Ensure a smooth handoff and final walkthrough at project completion

**What We're Looking For**

- Experience in residential construction, home building, or a related sales/project role
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and clients at once
- Comfortable with basic estimating, reading plans, and understanding construction timelines
- Self-motivated with a results-driven, closer's mindset
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits
- Familiarity with the Daviess County / Washington, IN area is a plus

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
