ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
One year of supervisory experience required
Must have drivers license with less than 6 points
Must have a vehicle that can be inspected.
Must be able to be on call
Must have a flexible schedule
Must be a team player.
Ability to communicate (verbal and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the company
Experience in managing systems, processes, and people
Working knowledge of Federal, State, and local regulations concerning services to individuals with acquired brain injuries
Ability to use a calculator and other general office, household, and adaptive equipment
Good organizational skills and attention to detail feedback, and guidance.
- English literacy and communication skills.
- Fulfills all appropriate orientation and training.
High School Diploma or GED are required.
- United States citizen or legal immigrant
- Valid Ohio Driver’s license with 4 or less points
- Ability to pass a drug test (must be completed before the start date of orientation).
- Satisfactory ability to lift up to 50 pounds, transfer client safely, complete household chores, and respond quickly to emergencies.
- Satisfactory visual and auditory surveillance, alertness, stamina, and dexterity.
- Desire to work with individuals with disabilities in a caring environment.
Personal motor vehicle and Valid Drivers license with less than 6 points is required. You will not be hired without this credential.
JOB PREVIEW:TEAM LEADER
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: TEAM LEAD focuses on efficiently meeting the needs of our clients in all aspects of day to day living and routines.
Abides by and demonstrates the company’s Mission, Vision, and Values through both behavior and job performance on a day-to-day basis
Supervises the provision of assistance to person(s) served in order to promote their physical, social, and psychological well-being
Monitors and ensures staff follow agency procedures to promote optimum safety practices to provide a safe environment
Monitors and ensures staff follows agency procedures to promote optimum health care and behavior supports
Monitors and ensures staff completes all documentation as required to ensure quality services
Supervises staff interactions with person(s) served and support staff to promote the rights of the person(s) served to achieve enhanced quality of life
Ensure Material Data Safety Sheets are present for all supplies/chemicals as applicable for assigned service sites
Conducts timely performance reviews
Maintains a work environment that supports dignity and fair treatment of staff
Participates in recruitment, ensures vacancies are filled in a timely manner, and participates in all hiring and termination decisions for assigned locations
- Maintain the facility food and non – food inventories.
- Promptly report major unusual incidents to the Manager or members on the Administration team, and accurately complete an Unusual Incident Report (UIR).
- Will become and remain aware of D.D. WEST COMPANY’s Policies and Procedures; as well as federal, state and local rules, regulations and ordinances.
