Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lease on Owner Operator to operate under our authority, providing reliable transportation services across various routes. This role offers the opportunity to partner with a dynamic team, utilizing your driving expertise and truck operation skills to ensure timely deliveries and excellent customer service. As a key player in our logistics network, you will manage your own equipment while benefiting from our support and resources to maximize efficiency and safety.

Duties

• Operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other freight-carrying equipment under our authority
• Load and unload cargo safely using appropriate techniques and equipment such as forklifts when necessary
• Drive route-specific deliveries, ensuring timely pickup and delivery of freight across designated areas
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations, including hours of service and safety standards
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any issues promptly
• Manage documentation related to shipments, delivery receipts, logs, and inspection reports accurately
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate schedules and resolve any delivery issues

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements suitable for the equipment operated (manual transmission experience preferred)
• Proven experience in truck driving, including tractor-trailer operations and route driving
• Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is highly desirable
• Experience with freight handling, load & unload procedures, and delivery driver responsibilities
• Ability to operate specialized equipment such as forklifts when required for cargo handling
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving and cargo securement
• Excellent navigation skills for efficient route planning and execution
