Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Greer, SC, for a Commercial Accounts Manager – Outside Sales. This position is primarily office-based for planning and coordination, with daily travel into the field to develop new business and maintain existing client relationships.
The Commercial Accounts Manager will be responsible for proactively generating leads, visiting local businesses, building partnerships, and growing a portfolio of commercial clients. Success in this role requires a strong balance of relationship-building, in-person prospecting, and account management.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily outside sales visits to local businesses, fleet accounts, and referral partners
- Prospect, develop, and close new commercial business opportunities
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and key decision-makers
- Manage and grow an existing portfolio of commercial accounts
- Collaborate with business partners to drive referrals
- Present vehicle solutions tailored to business needs, including fleet and service options
- Negotiate pricing and terms while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and customer interactions
- Proven experience in outside sales, account management, or business development
- Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a daily territory
- Results-driven with strong negotiation skills
- Familiarity with upfitted vehicles is a plus
- Automotive industry experience preferred but not required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred, not required)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
