We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. Responsibilities
- Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor and observe patient health status, including vital signs and behavioral changes, to ensure safety and well-being
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary
- Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality and safety
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and proper infection control practices
- Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident’s
to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance - Document care activities accurately in compliance with facility policies and state regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home, or group home settings preferred
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and hospice care practices
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physically demanding tasks consistently
- Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is advantageous
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare teams
- Valid background check clearance and compliance with all regulatory requirements
