Responsibilities
- Assist in the construction and demolition of structures as directed by supervisors.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and regulations.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under the supervision of skilled workers.
- Help set up scaffolding, ladders, and other temporary structures.
- Follow instructions from foremen or project managers to complete tasks efficiently.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and safety updates.
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction is a must
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) and standing for long periods.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and safety equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions accurately.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on various tasks as needed.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment.
