Position Overview
D.C. United is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Partnerships Intern to assist our Corporate Partnerships team for the Spring semester of the 2026 season. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sports marketing, sponsorships, and relationship management. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sports, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to the success of D.C. United's corporate partnerships.This internship will follow a hybrid schedule aligned with the DCU Full Time Staffing schedule. In-person work at the D.C. United Offices at Audi Field will be required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, as well as on game days, which are typically Saturday afternoons and evenings, but also on other days. The other days, excluding game days or events, will be virtual. To be considered for this position, the ability to work on-site during matches is required.

Key Responsibilities
- Help coordinate and run partnership activations and events
- Support the development and maintenance of partner-related materials, including presentations, proposal and recaps
- Research potential partners and industry trends to support partnership development
- Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, ticketing, and operations to ensure successful partnership fulfillment
- Assist in tracking and reporting partnership deliverables to ensure all obligations are met
- Provide general administrative support to the Corporate Partnerships team including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and maintaining records
- Eligible to receive college credit for the internship
- Dedicate no more than 25 hours per week to the internship from February 26 through May 2026
- Available to work on match days (including weekends)
- Work may require occasional weekend or evening work
- The selected candidate will be required to pass a background check
- Must be able to receive college credit
- Strong interest in sports, particularly soccer.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Photoshop is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Previous experience in sports marketing or corporate partnerships is a plus, but not required.
