Position Overview:
We are looking for enthusiastic baseball instructors who can teach various aspects of the game, including hitting, fielding, catching, and pitching. Candidates with a strong background in pitching and/or catching instruction will be prioritized during the hiring process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and small-group instruction in hitting, pitching, fielding, defensive play, and other baseball skills.
- Develop customized training plans and progressions tailored to each athlete’s goals.
- Conduct camps, clinics, and special programs.
- Evaluate prospective clients and present baseline assessments.
- Maintain client relationships, follow up on lesson leads, and assist in retention efforts.
- Collaborate with facility leadership on scheduling, promotions, and facility operations.
- Uphold facility standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism.
- Represent D-BAT’s values in all interactions with players, parents, and staff.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of baseball fundamentals and mechanics.
- Experience playing or coaching (college or higher preferred).
- Experience teaching private lessons, group clinics, or camps.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
- Self-motivated, growth-oriented, with a passion for athlete development.
- Comfortable using technology (video analysis, scheduling platforms, etc.).
