Night Shift - Material Hander
REQUIREMENTS:
- Operation of forklift and/or pallet jack in a safe, efficient and precise manner
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply & divide)
- Communications skill
- Work in a 32-36°F coldbox environment and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Work Monday to Saturday and occasional Sundays
- Knowledge of scan gun, tectrol machine, pallet strapper, etc. a plus
- Safely lift up to 50 pounds
- Regular and consistent attendance mandatory
- Work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Perform pre-op inspection of forklift, complete inspection report(s) and report any
issues to supervision
- Operate a forklift in a safe, efficient and precise manner for miscellaneous forklift
duties
- Troubleshoot & resolve Tectrol machine issues via control panel to assure proper
operation of equipment
- Notify supervision of any technical and/or maintenance issues with tectrol
machine
- Merge partial pallets of like product (weighing up to 50 lbs.) – involves manual stacking/palletizing
- Assist in various basic duties, such as strapping, tagging, prepping product, etc.
- Pick, palletize, and pre-stage orders
- Perform all General Labor essential job functions
- Maintain all work areas clean
- Follow all verbal and written instructions from company supervision
- Understand and follow all company rules and regulations
- Miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned by Supervision
