D'Amico Hospitality is hiring for a Houseman!

The Houseperson is responsible set up, tear down and maintenance of facilities for D’Amico Hospitality. This role involves collaboration with other department personnel is essential to meet or exceed customer expectations. The Houseperson is often a main interface with our customers and must provide a competent, friendly and professional representation of D’Amico and its image. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Read and understand stencil pack information including times, room sets, AV and client expectations.
2. Follow through and attention to detail in completing tasks during setup up, tear down and storage of equipment and supplies.
3. Load delivery vehicles, taking into consideration safe food handling procedures, packing and loading to protect property and people, as well as planning routes for productivity.
4. Get signatures on customer paperwork and complete other paperwork as required.
5. Prioritize safety by diligently working, promptly reporting any safety concerns to a manager.
6. Take pride in work and committed to professionalism in demeanor & appearance.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must be able to bend, lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular and continuing basis.
2. Must be able to read, write and speak clearly and listen attentively in order to communicate with internal staff and external staff (most of whom speak English) and handle paperwork.
3. Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods up to twelve hours in length.
4. Must have the ability to consistently arrive at work for all scheduled shifts as assigned.
5. Must have flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
