**Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various tasks that require lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in potentially adverse conditions.
- Align and position pipes for welding or sealing
- Check slopes using levels or lasers
- Connect pipe pieces and seal joints using welding equipment, cement, or glue
- Cover pipes with earth or other materials
- Cut pipe to required lengths
- Dig trenches to desired depths using hand tools or trenching equipment
- Grade and level trench bases using equipment and hand tools
- Install and repair sanitary and stormwater sewer structures and pipe systems
- Lay out pipe routes following written instructions or blueprints
**Requirements:**
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three years of pipe laying experience
- A valid driver's license or reliable transportation to report to work on time
- Willingness to travel to job sites in remote locations
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Able to pass pre-hire drug screen (Drug Free Employer)
- Current OSHA 10 card holders preferred
- Experience safely operating equipment on site, including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and graders
- Ability to communicate effectively with workers and representatives on the job site
