The Purpose:
The Lead Architectural Project Manager oversees all aspects of permanent installation projects from new business support through installation and final completion. This role acts as the critical link between clients, architects, general contractors, internal teams, and vendors, ensuring that every project is executed with precision, accountability, and clear communication. The position requires deep architectural and construction knowledge, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams through complex, long-term build cycles while maintaining financial accuracy and schedule integrity.

The Job:
- Permanent Installations – New Business Development Support
- Serve as the initial point of contact for the New Business Development (NBD) team on new opportunities involving permanent installations.
- Review internal and external design renderings with sales executives and clients.
- Provide value-engineering feedback to executives, designers, and clients.
- Assist in RFP responses, including timeline development, estimating, and estimate review.
- Post Award Responsibilities
- Initiate contact with architects, general contractors, and all project stakeholders to ensure a strong project kickoff and foundation.
- Develop and maintain project contact spreadsheets.
- Set up project folders on the server, including all relevant data from clients and web-based transfer portals.
- Enter start and stop dates for each production department into Capacity for forecasting and financial tracking.
- Assign new element numbers and label them in design renderings via Adobe Acrobat.
- Project Launch and Management
- Fully manage all assigned projects from kickoff through installation.
- Conduct kickoff meetings for CAD, Shop, Warehouse, Graphics, and Installation teams.
- Oversee CAD and fabrication activities through the full production lifecycle.
- Track finish sample submittals with architects and stakeholders.
- Monitor and report project profitability weekly through Microsoft D365.
- Installation Oversight
- Travel to project sites to supervise installation.
- Estimate, communicate, and track change orders.
- Manage subcontractors and vendors.
- Schedule on-site progress meetings.
- Generate punch lists and completion lists.
- Drive project to final completion.
- Extensive knowledge in architectural projects, general contracting, and
- Ability to read and interpret construction
- Knowledge of ADA, life safety plans, and architectural
- Excellent communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, D365, Smartsheet, Adobe
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent
- Ability to work weekends and travel
