About the role:
This is a contract driving position where you'll spend your days independently covering assigned roads in your city with our data collection sensor mounted to your vehicle. It's solo work, self-directed, and well-paid. If you like being on the road, working independently, and getting paid to drive, this is for you.
What you'll do:
- Drive assigned road networks in your area collecting LiDAR and camera data
- Set up and operate our sensor equipment each day -- we'll train you fully before you start
- Log your progress and flag any issues as they come up
- Work independently -- no micromanagement, just you and the road
This role is a great fit if you:
- Have a background or interest in GIS, mapping, surveying, data, or geospatial technology
- Are a recent graduate looking for paid hands-on field experience

- Are comfortable with technology and pick up new tools quickly
- Have a clean driving record
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Reliable personal vehicle (mileage fully reimbursed)
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Basic comfort with technology -- we'll train you on everything else
What we offer:
- Competitive hourly pay
- Full mileage reimbursement -- gas and wear-and-tear covered
- Contract length: typically 4-15 weeks depending on your project
Pre-Employment Requirements:
This position requires a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and background check prior to starting.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
