Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process shipments using material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring products are organized according to merchandising standards
- Use RF scanners to accurately track inventory levels and update stock records in real-time
- Conduct regular inventory control checks to identify discrepancies and maintain stock accuracy
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading merchandise safely
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas to promote safety and efficiency
- Support retail store activities by packaging products, replenishing stock, and preparing items for sale or shipment
- Operate warehouse equipment responsibly while adhering to safe lifting practices and manual handling protocols
- Communicate effectively with team members across departments in multiple languages if applicable
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring product availability and assisting with product knowledge when needed
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience or retail store experience is highly preferred
- Familiarity with inventory management systems, RF scanners, or warehouse operations is a plus
- Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar machinery is advantageous (certification preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for stock accuracy and safety procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following safe lifting practices
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, retail math calculations, and cash handling (if applicable)
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Proven ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards
