Cyrwus Contracting is seeking a skilled and dependable Lead Carpenter / Remodeling Technician to join our growing team. We specialize in high-quality residential remodeling projects, including kitchens, bathrooms, additions, decks, and custom renovations throughout Dutchess, Putnam, and Westchester counties.
The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and can work independently or as part of a team while maintaining a professional attitude on every job site.
Responsibilities
- Perform all phases of residential remodeling and construction
- Frame walls, floors, roofs, and additions
- Install doors, windows, trim, cabinets, and finish carpentry
- Install drywall, flooring, tile, and other finish materials
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Identify and solve construction issues in the field
- Ensure work meets company quality standards and local building codes
Qualifications
- 5 years of residential construction or remodeling experience preferred
- Experience with framing, finish carpentry, drywall, tile, and general remodeling
- Ability to read construction drawings and measurements accurately
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Positive attitude, punctuality, and reliability
