Nantucket Public Schools Job Description Science Teacher (1.0) Cyrus Peirce School Job Summary: Nantucket Public Schools seeks [1] dynamic Science Teacher at Cyrus Peirce Middle School (grade 7) for the 2026-27 academic year. We have adopted OpenSciEd. The successful candidate will have experience facilitating learning of disciplinary core ideas through engagement in the science and engineering practices. He/She will also promote learning and growth of each student by facilitating high-quality learning experiences, utilizing meaningful student assessments to inform instruction, differentiating instruction, and maintaining a safe and effective learning environment.
