Construction Sales Representative

Company: Cyrus Masonry & Restoration, Inc.

Location: Port Huron, Michigan

Compensation: $55,000–$80,000 annually, depending on experience, capabilities, and responsibilities.

Position Overview

Cyrus Masonry & Restoration is looking for a motivated, organized, and professional Construction Sales Representative to join our growing team.

This individual will be responsible for generating new business, managing incoming leads, meeting with customers, evaluating potential projects, and gathering detailed information for our estimating department.

We are looking for someone with previous sales experience who can represent our company professionally, communicate effectively with customers, build strong relationships, and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.

There is an opportunity to advance into an estimating position as the individual develops the necessary skills and demonstrates strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and an understanding of masonry and concrete construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business and develop customer relationships.
• Respond to incoming leads and communicate with prospective customers.
• Schedule and conduct on-site customer appointments.
• Listen to customers, identify their concerns, and understand their project goals.
• Perform detailed site evaluations, including measurements, photographs, and documentation of existing conditions.
• Maintain thorough, accurate, and organized project notes.
• Provide the estimating department with all information necessary to prepare accurate proposals.
• Present completed proposals to customers, answer questions, and follow up to close sales.
• Maintain accurate customer information, notes, and lead status within Buildertrend.
• Coordinate with the estimating and operations departments to ensure a smooth transition from sales to production.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to document information accurately and thoroughly.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage appointments and follow up independently.
• Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
• Comfortable using technology, taking photographs, and managing digital records.
• Construction, masonry, concrete, restoration, or related sales experience preferred.
• Ability to understand construction terminology and identify common masonry and concrete issues is a plus.

Compensation

Annual Salary: $55,000–$80,000

Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, construction knowledge, demonstrated capabilities, and the level of responsibility they are qualified to handle.

Candidates with stronger construction backgrounds, proven sales abilities, and the capacity to take on additional responsibilities may qualify for compensation toward the higher end of the range.
